7 Ways of Countering Covid with Desi Cow

COVID-19 is a serious respiratory disease caused by a form of coronavirus that has not been previously identified in humans. It was first detected in China and has now spread across the globe, with over 153,954,491 confirmed cases globally and more than 3,221,052 global deaths as of May 5, 2021

Immunity is the main tool in our arsenal to fight this disease. Integrating the cow with our lifestyle can greatly help us boost our immunity. Here are 7 things you can do daily to prevent and manage Covid-19, apart from other things like washing hands, maintaining social distance etc.

1. CARING FOR YOUR GUT BACTERIA WITH BUTTERMILK

Research suggests that the gut microbiome contributes to 70% of the immune system! Buttermilk is not diluted curd, it is what is left after butter has been churned (bi-directionally) out from curd. This buttermilk is a great source of probiotics, alleviates several stomach ailments and is a complete food by itself.

2. CONSUMING DESI COW’S BILONA GHEE or GHRTA

One of the best remedies that can be effortlessly tried at home to increase immunity is by heating A2 cultured ghee lukewarm and mixing some freshly crushed pepper with it. Having this regularly early morning on an empty stomach can help boost the immunity. It is also ideal to fight the flu and other viral infections. Oh yes! it is high time you ditch refined oils completely.

3. NASYA OR NASAL DROPS WITH DESI COW’S BILONA GHEE

An important measure as per the AYUSH guidelines for self care in management of COVID 19 is nasal application – It involves application of Ghee in both the nostrils (Pratimarsh Nasya) in morning and evening.

4. TURMERIC LATTE AT NIGHT WITH DESI COW’S A2 MILK

Golden Milk – or popularly called Turmeric Latte in the West – is made with half tea spoon Haldi (turmeric) powder and a pinch of black pepper in 150 ml hot desi cow’s A2 milk – preferably before sleeping. Turmeric is known for its anti-viral properties and this is the best way to consume it.

5. USING GAUMUTRA AS A BIO-ENHANCER

Gomutra exhibits the property of Rasayana tattwa responsible for modulating various bodily functions, including immunity. The anti-microbial, bioenhancing, antioxidant and anti-cancer properties of cow urine have been indicated in modern clinical trials. It is also a bio-enhancer for Rifampicin, the front-line anti-tubercular drug used against tuberculosis. Research shows Rifampicin may be repurposed for COVID-19 treatment. It is pertinent to mention here that findings need further validation by in vitro studies and clinical trials. Cow urine therapy is not nourishing in nature. It is detoxifying and cleansing in nature.

6. USING COW DUNG ASH IN WATER TO INCREASE DISSOLVED OXYGEN (DO)

While India is gasping for oxygen, this is the most natural to increase dissolved oxygen in the water you drink. There are a number of health benefits of drinking water with higher DO. Aerobic cow dung ash in water also increases its pH and adds useful minerals that the body needs. You can add about 3gm of this ash in 10 litres of water and consume this water all day. Research paper on how DO doubles even in sewage water is mentioned in the bibliography.

7. AGNIHOTRA HOMA MORNING AND EVENING FOR NASAL NITRIC OXIDE

Nitric oxide is known to have a broad antimicrobial effect against bacteria, fungi, helminths, protozoa and viruses. To assess the potential of NO as a treatment for SARS-CoV-2 infection, researchers evaluated its vitro antiviral effect on SARS-CoV-2 replication and published their findings in September 2020. Prof Ake Lundkvist of Uppsala University, Sweden, one of the authors of the paper, has said, “To our knowledge, nitric oxide is the only substance shown so far to have a direct effect on SARS-CoV-2”. Nitric oxide (NO) is naturally released due to cow’s dung and ghee (hump-backed Indian cow) during Yajnya process. So it is vital we do Agnihotra morning and evening and breathe in the beneficial gases while reducing the impact of harmful bacteria and viruses. “It is a ‘post-exposure’ prevention — just like the hand sanitiser is,” said Dr Chris Miller, Chief Science Officer of a company promoting NO Nasal Spray. So the best thing to do is follow the practice of Agnihotra every sunrise and sunset.

What to do if you are sick: If you are sick or have symptoms of COVID-19, stay home and isolate yourself, avoiding contact with other people. If you live with another person, practice rigorous hygiene, disinfect surfaces regularly, and avoid sharing items. Call your doctor, tell them that you may have COVID-19, and ask them to alert your local or state health department. Have your doctor determine when it is safe to end home isolation.
